“Great Open Eyes” Opera by Manuel Zwerger, Carolyn Amann and Carmen C. Kruse
May 13 @ 19:30 - 20:30 CEST$35
Conductor: Boris Cepeda
What happens to people in great grief? How do you experience the loss of loved ones, even your own child? In Ibsen’s drama Klein Eyolf , this is exactly what happens to the couple Rita and Alfred: they lose their only child. The world premiere Great open Eyes takes on the theme of grief in an immersive evening in which the audience works closely with the performers and musicians, and the experience of loss takes center stage. To this end, Carmen C. Kruse and her team enter into an early exchange with institutions and people in Münster who are concerned with mourning.
